Midrange galaxy announces Galaxy A53 and A33

 

Galaxy announced the middle class smartphones "Galaxy A53" and "Galaxy A33" at the new product launch "Galaxy A Event" that was held from 23:00 on March 16th, Japan time.

Galaxy A53

The Galaxy A53 is a middle-high class smartphone that costs just under 60,000 yen. The SoC is Exynos 1200, the memory is 6 / 8GB, and the storage is 128 / 256GB. It also supports the virtual memory function, and it seems that you can add up to 6GB for the 6GB memory model and 8GB for the 8GB model. It also supports a separate microSD card, supporting up to 1TB.


The display supports 6.5 inch FHD + organic EL and 120Hz refresh rate. The punch holes and upper and lower bezels are not particularly thick, so they don't feel cheap.


The camera is the same as the Galaxy A52, with 64 million pixels + 12 million pixels super wide angle + 5 million pixel depth measurement + 5 million pixel macro. Like its predecessor, the wide-angle lens supports optical image stabilization and OIS. The design around the camera is also inherited so that it is indistinguishable. The in-camera has a high definition of 32 million pixels, which is also the same as the predecessor.
 

Battery capacity increased to 5000mAh, charging speed is 25W. The body color is Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Peach. The price is about 449 euros (59,800 yen). It is considerably higher than the previous 429 euros (55,800 yen). Since the Galaxy A52 5G was also sold by docomo in Japan, it seems likely that the A53 5G will be announced at a later date.

Galaxy A33 5G

The Galaxy A33 5G is a model that is one step lower in performance and price than the Galaxy A53. Similarly, the SoC is unknown here, but it is said that the AI ​​performance of the Galaxy A33 is 437% higher than that of the Galaxy A32. This looks a little promising.


It seems that 6 / 8GB of memory and 128 / 256Gb of storage will be prepared. Supports virtual memory function equivalent to A53 and microSD card up to 1TB.
 

The display is 6.4 inch full HD + organic EL, and the refresh rate is 90Hz. The in-camera is a water drop type.


The camera measures 48 million pixels + 8 million pixels super wide angle + 5 million pixels macro + 2 million pixels depth measurement. The in-camera has 13 million pixels and normal performance.

The battery is 5000mAh like the A53, and the charging speed is still 25W. The body color is the same as the Galaxy A53, and there are four colors: Awesome Black, Awesome White, Awesome Blue, and Awesome Peach. Prices start at 369 euros (48,000 yen).
