Mama Dog And Her Nine Two-Week-Old Puppies Were Abandoned In Parking Lot

As an animal lover, I can’t understand how some people can treat their dog like garbage.

Of course there are many different cases. Some people may love their pets deeply but are incapable of caring for them, but that’s not the reason to throw your pet out in the middle of nowhere.

A unfortunate dog was abandoned in a church parking lot in Abilene, Texas, along with her nine newborn puppies. They posted pictures of the 5-year-old mother dog and her puppies on social media and soon the kind people became interested in adopting this sweet family.

“Dumped in the parking lot of an Abilene church. All Rescues are full to bursting. Foster needed asap. Please. Developing situation,” the post read.

When Paw Angel Animal Rescue heard about that poor family, they realized they had to help the sweet mom and her puppies.

“I saw the picture and it just broke my heart and I called Angel and we went and rescued the dogs,” said Misty Boerger.

Angel Urban and Misty Boerger drove to the mom and her puppies put them on the backseat of the car.

“I just don’t know how someone could do that, leaving mamma and two-week-old babies,” Misty wrote .

The sweet dog mother, later named Dory, needed vet attention immediately. They found lots of wounds on her that were open and draining.

The vet discovered a tumor in one of her puppy’s throats and unfortunately he had to be put down. Misty realized that the little pooches needed around the clock care so she decided to keep them in for two weeks.

Mama dog and her puppies are safe now. They will be staying with Misty for two weeks and then move to a permanent foster. We will always be grateful to the people who help animals, they are true heroes.
