Dog Hides Behind Mattress In Alley Waiting For Someone To Help Her

Two abandoned dogs are on their way to better lives thanks to the Good Samaritans calling for help.

China and Dublin needed someone to help them when both were found abandoned on the same day. Thanks to JoAnn Wiltz and Lisa Arturo of Hope For Paws, the two dogs are safe and looking for a loving forever homes.

Dublin was abandoned in a Los Angeles park well known as a dumping ground. The dog was wearing a collar with no tag. The Rottweiler/Shepherd mix was so skinny, but seemed to instantly know they were there to help him.

Lisa was able to hook the “lucky leash” onto his collar. They then put him in the car and took him to the hospital. On their way to hospital, they got a call about another dog that needed help.

There they found China, a Bull Terrier hiding behind a mattress. She had a malformed lip and bite marks on her. Despite being shy, she was so hungry and approached Lisa, who gently coaxed her into a cage.

Then they brought two dogs back to the center. After being washed and cleaned, the two dogs were examined for health. Fortunately, they are all healthy and have no serious problems.

However, China and Dublin still need a loving forever home. Hope they will find a loving family of their own soon.
