An Abandoned Pregnant Dog Begs People Passing By To Take Her With Them

Two dogs left behind at an abandoned house in Mexico. They roam the property, hoping someone can spot them and help.

One of the dogs was very eager to be saved, so when the dog spotted somebody who appeared to be able to assist, she set her anxieties aside and allowed them to pick her up.

The dog’s rescuers discovered the reason the puppy was so eager to be saved after taking her to the vet: she was pregnant.

With help from The Animal Pad, the dog, later named Mama Wild, was placed in a foster home, where she could build up her strength.

Lauren Botticelli, who helped with Mama Wild’s care, was shocked that the sweet dog had been left alone.

“I felt sadness,” Botticelli said. “But ultimately [I felt] really grateful that these puppies wouldn’t be born on the street.”

Mama Wild was finally able to unwind in her foster home, where she eventually gave birth to two little children. Mama Wild has dedicated her life to raising her children and cherishing every moment she spends with them.

“Her favorite activities are doting on [the puppies] and being a loving mother,” Botticelli said.

After about two months with their mother, the puppies will be available for adoption. Mama Wild will be searching for her permanent home, too.

Mama Wild won’t have to worry about surviving alone ever again now that she’s safe, has a promising future, and a loving new family to look forward to.
