Woman Rescues An Abandoned Dog Waiting In The Rain For His Family To Return
While driving on the roads of South Carolina in the pouring rain, Angela Simmons caught a glimpse of a dejected face peering back at her through her hazy car window. It’s Murphy’s sad face that Simmons had been looking for.
Earlier that day, Simmons had received a call from residents of a nearby trailer park about a friendly dog tied near a couch by the side of the road. Simmons knew she had to help.
Simmons saw the dog’s itchy paws and nose as she walked up to him. The dog had spent a lot of time outside without being properly cared for. Nevertheless, it was clear that despite his circumstances, the pup had lots of love to give.
The dog, eventually named Murphy, was placed in a foster home with assistance from Auction For A Kaws, where he quickly adjusted to the benefits of having a family.
“Once he entered foster care, he proved to be the biggest love bug,” an Action For A Kaws staff member said.
Finally, Murphy was taking pleasure in all of his favorite activities, including cuddling up under cozy blankets, riding in the car, taking walks, and relaxing in the sun.
Everyone who met Murphy was struck by his upbeat demeanor and his admiration for all creatures alive.
“He loves other dogs and is very intelligent,” the staff member said. “He is very eager to learn and has amazing manners.”
Murphy is currently on a house trial with a potential family. The adorable dog will soon have the lasting love and community he has always deserved.
